Where It All Began...
We’re Roger and Rose, husband and wife team, owners of Bobcaygeon Home Hardware, and creators of lifestyle brand At Home with Roger and Rose.
In 1979, Roger’s family moved to Bobcaygeon after his dad bought the business and shortly after turned it into a Home Hardware. As a young man, Roger spent years working in the business and learning everything he’d need to know about successfully running a hardware store. In 2000, we became the proud owners of Bobcaygeon Home Hardware after purchasing it from his dad. As they say, the rest is history!
The Store
After more than 20 years, there’s no better feeling for us than serving our amazing community! We’re truly a team when it comes to running our hardware and home improvement store. Roger handles the day-to-day logistics of running the store, while Rose’s eye and education in design helps with our visual merchandising and buying.
We love providing customers with the highest quality products, services, and advice to enjoy their cottage country homes to the fullest! We offer many convenient in-store services including screen repair, key cutting, knife sharpening, paint colour consulting and paint matching for your home. We’ve also curated our own “At Home” brand of products to reflect the specific needs of homeowners in cottage country.
Living On The Lake
While we own a hardware and home improvement business, we’re also cottage country homeowners raising our boys here! As cottage country homeowners ourselves, we know the unique challenges and needs that come along with that.
Roger enjoys the tasks that come with maintaining our home and property and Rose loves designing and decorating our lake home (especially with the beautiful decor from our store!). She also enjoys sharing her favourite recipes and entertaining guests on the lake.
